WEB Holmes II saved the best for the final year as he notched career-best marks in each of the five major categories. The 6-10 power forward from Dayton projects as a potential NBA player, according to scouting reports and mock draft rankings.
In a proposed trade with the Phoenix Suns, the Denver Nuggets made a big splash in the 2024 NBA Draft. The Nuggets moved up six spots to select Dayton big man DaRon Holmes, who was ranked as the best aggregate mock draft.
Holmes II heard his name called Wednesday night during the first round of the draft. The record-setting college basketball career of the Dayton Flyers star officially came to an end.
Holmes II announced that he was ending his college career to enter the NBA Draft. The University of Dayton junior forward is expected to be a high draft pick.
